Fiesta Nails! With Sally Hansen

I've recently been inspired to do some cute and creative manicures using Sally Hansen nail products. I've seen so many cute nail designs around the web recently and wanted to give it a go but was hesitant since I'm not very artistic. Sally Hansen has lots of products that will help anyone design an awesome and creative manicure.

I've partnered up with Sally Hansen for their I Heart Nail Art campaign to help you fall in love with your nails and nail art.

Ever heard of Fiesta, here in San Antonio? It's a week long celebration that occurs in the middle of April every year in San Antonio.
"Fiesta San Antonio started in 1891 as a one-parade event. It evolved into one of this nation’s premier festivals, with an economic impact of more than $284 million for the Alamo City. Fiesta is one of America’s truly great festivals. It began as a way to honor the memory of the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. That commemoration still takes place. But over the past century and more, Fiesta has grown into a celebration of San Antonio’s rich and diverse cultures. 2013 marks Fiesta’s 122nd anniversary."
To help get some friends and I in a festive mood for Fiesta this year, I decided to have Fiesta Nail Party!

I stopped by Walgreens to pick up some bright and festive Sally Hansen nail polish colors for the party and they had a large selection to choose from and some pretty awesome deals going on and was able to score a lot of stuff to decorate our nails with for a great price. Sally Hansen Extreme and Salon Effects were 2/$5 and I got 1,000 points for using my Balance Rewards card.

We had a fun time using the bright colors, nail pens and nail strips. I love the nail pens and nail strips, they're so easy to use and help you create some very colorful and artistic designs without much effort.

I'm rocking my festive nails and I am ready for Fiesta San Antonio!

Winter Kids Fashion With Cookie's Kids

I have a 4 year old daughter who loves clothes, shoes and accessories. She tells me how she likes to be "fashion", haha... I think she means fashionable. We recently did a little online shopping together on CookiesKids.com. It was nice to shop from the comfort of my own and not having to worry about her wondering off looking at clothes while I try to shop for her and her brother. Being able to shop from home from  #CookiesKids large selection didn't mean it was %100 stress free. This girl knows what she likes and wants and it's not always easy compromising with a preschooler. I wanted the most for my money and she wanted fashionable  items. Cookie's Kids offers a large selection of adorable and stylish kids clothes, shoes and accessories for both boys and girls at a great price so that you don't have to sacrifice style for price.

The first thing I noticed when we landed on the site was the banner advertising their $5.95 shipping price on every order unless you spend over $99 then it's free. I thought this was great. I can load up my shopping cart with many items and not have to worry about occurring shipping charges. All departments were very easy to find on the navigation bar.

When finding the girls department and viewing their 'Featured Brands' that include brands like Disney, The NorthFace Backpacks and Baby Phat Clothing. Emma Lee quickly noticed the Hello Kitty logo and wants to go there first. We browsed her size and came across several adorable outfits for her.

She liked this Hello Kitty "Leopard Bow" 2 piece outfit the best. I'm surprised she didn't select the purple one since it's her favorite color. I used the 'Alva Kids' app near the size selection to help me find her size. I inputted her details and it suggested a size for the outfit. Very simple to use and very helpful.

We decide on these 2 outfits above and both are perfect for Winter fashion in Texas. It's only cold here in San Antonio a few days a year and it's nothing a warm coat can't solve. Because of the weather here I aim more for clothing items that are versatile. Clothes that can be worn in fall, winter and spring by adding, removing or switching out items.

Her new clothes arrived about a week later. She was excited to get her new clothes but was not too happy about taking a few pictures, as you can see. She wore her new Hello Kitty outfit to school the next day and loved wearing her new outfit.

Her second outfit we selected together was the Diva "Hyacinth" 2-Piece. It's a very pretty and adorable outfit with cute embellishments. For only $9.99, it's a great outfit for the low price. She loved her outfit and was in a better mood the following day. She started blushing when I told her how pretty she looked. She couldn't wait to ware it to school the next morning.

She loved her new fashionable clothes from CookiesKids.com.
