How Bath Time Can Help Healthy Baby Development

Parents around the world spend 10 hours a month on average bathing their children! Bath time is a perfect opportunity to stimulate your child’s senses like touching, smelling, seeing, and hearing. Bath time can also be a great time for bonding with your children and to help stimulate their creativity. The sensory effects of bath time stay with them long after bath time is over. Many parents say that bath time is a special activity they enjoy with their child.

Research shows that infants who experienced routine touch and massage (a big part of the after-bath routine) were 50% more likely to make eye contact and 3 times more likely to have an overall positive expression.

{This is part of a sponsored collaboration with Latina Mom Bloggers and Disney Junior. However, all opinions expressed are my own}

We recently had a Disney Junior Birthday celebration. Maddox is a huge lover of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on the Disney Junior channel so I knew that we had to have a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse inspired party for his 3rd birthday. The fun and exciting part for me was decorating and serving up fun treats with a Mickey Mouse theme. All of the sweet treats were a big hit at the party. A party with all of your favorite Disney characters is always an awesome celebration.

Pull-Ups #SayAdiosToDiapers Luncheon

{This is a sponsored post for Pull-Ups and Latina Bloggers Connect}

Last week I got to have a #SayAdiosToDiapers luncheon with several San Antonio Latina mom bloggers and Jeanette Kaplun from Miami, FL. We sat around the lunch table and discussed are lives as mom's and shared potty training tips and stories. As the conversation about potty training our children continued on, I quickly realized that I wasn't alone in my concerns, fears and stresses about potty training, even if this will be my second time around. I'm a mom with potty training experience but I still have questions and concerns about potty training my son. Even though I've been on this journey before, I'm fully aware that every child is different and the process of potty training can vary from child to child.

Dr. Brown's. Perfect for Babies

{This is a sponsored post}

I love Dr. Brown's baby products. They have many must have items for mom's and babies. I used a variety of Dr. Brown's products with both of my children and still continue to use some even though they are past the baby stage. I still use some of their sippy cups to avoid spills and messes and their stackable snack cups for snacks on-the-go. The Dr. Brown's Natural Flow are what I loved best. Use the bottles with my kid's. My first born had colic and these bottles helped with feeding problems like colic, spit-up, burping, and gas.

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is a common, seasonal virus contracted by nearly 100 percent of babies by their second birthday. Although RSV is extremely common, many parents are unaware of the dangers that RSV presents to their children. It's highly contiguous and only about 1/3 of mom's are aware of the virus. RSV disease is the leading cause of hospitalization for babies during their first year of life in the United States, with approximately 125,000 hospitalizations and up to 400 infant deaths each year.

{This is a compensated post in collaboration with LUBRIDERM and Latina Bloggers Connect}

Time spent with our families are most precious to us all and memories we'll cherish for a lifetime. As a mother to two adorable little ones, I can't help but treasure every moment with my kids.We enjoy lots and lots of cuddle time on the couch, during naps and story time. I want to keep them happy and healthy. Taking care of their health also includes keeping their skin healthy and moisturized. My son suffers from eczema and I try my best to keep it under control so that he's always comfortable, and a comfortable toddler is a happy one. During the colder day of winter, his eczema flares up and leaves him itchy and miserable so we use a moisturizer daily so that moments spent with his sister and family are not missed or interrupted.
